9 services

You don’t have to figure it out alone.

Not sure which service fits? A brief conversation is a good place to start.

Service fit, availability, scope, and fees are confirmed before work begins.

A simple next step

Let’s start
a conversation.

Parents, families, and referring professionals are welcome. Tell me briefly what you need help with—you don’t have to choose a service first.

Serving Minnesota. Most meetings take place by Zoom.
An inquiry begins the conversation; appointments require confirmation.

What happens next

  1. Share the basics

A brief, general description and any court referral or appointment information are enough to begin.

  2. Check the fit

We clarify the service, potential conflicts, availability, and appointment requirements.

  3. Know what to expect

Before work begins, you’ll know the role, applicable fees, paperwork, and how to prepare.

What should I include in my first inquiry?

Share a general description, the service if known, and whether you have a court referral or appointment. Save detailed case history and confidential documents for intake.

What will the service cost?

Fees depend on the service and scope. Wendy confirms applicable fees, deposits, payment deadlines, and billing arrangements before work begins. A court order may also set fee terms.

What does child-focused mean?

It means keeping children’s needs and everyday lives visible when addressing parenting decisions. Wendy serves as a neutral; she does not take one parent’s side.

Experienced. Neutral. Child-focused.

Meet Wendy.

I help families navigate conflict during separation, divorce, and co-parenting, with a focus on children’s well-being and practical solutions that work in everyday life.

Professional experience

I’m a Civil & Family Mediator and Minnesota Rule 114 Qualified Neutral. My background includes a B.S. in Family Social Science from the University of Minnesota and experience as a Guardian ad Litem.

My practice includes family and civil mediation, Elder Mediation, Social Early Neutral Evaluation (SENE), Parenting Time Expediting (PTE), Parenting Consultant/Coordinator services, Custody Evaluation, Neutral Fact Finding, and Arbitration.

A practical, compassionate approach

My commitment to this work is both professional and personal. Having navigated divorce and remarriage, and as a parent and stepparent in a blended family, I understand how changing relationships, family roles, and parenting expectations can affect everyday life.

These experiences inform my practical, compassionate approach, while my professional training and responsibilities guide my work as a neutral. Every family’s experience is different, and I bring curiosity and respect to understanding yours.

Children should be at the center of parenting decisions, not in the middle of parental conflict.

Clarity before you begin

Client education is an important part of my work. When parents understand the process and the choices available to them, they are better equipped to make thoughtful decisions.

The CLEAR Framework

A structured approach adapted to the neutral role.

  1. Clarify the conflict
  2. Look at what matters
  3. Explore the options
  4. Arrive at workable decisions
  5. Roadmap the way forward

The service and appointment documents determine Wendy’s role.

Understanding the roles

PC or PTE?

Both may address parenting disputes. The scope of the actual appointment matters.

PC

Parenting Consultant / Coordinator

Recurring co-parenting disputes, communication, and carrying out a parenting plan, within the appointment’s scope.

PTE

Parenting Time Expeditor

Specific parenting-time disputes under an existing court order or parenting plan, within the appointment’s authority.

The roles are not interchangeable. Wendy reviews the relevant agreement and court order to confirm scope.
